Canadian Canoe Culture Contest Highlights Brant!

The only thing more Canadian than exploring by paddle is exploring by paddle with a polar bear tagging along – sadly or thankfully – only one of these is really an option for us here!

The County of Brant is so fortunate to have not one but TWO paddling rivers through it, the Grand and the Nith. To embrace the culture behind paddling in Canada and the magnificence of the Granf, the Heart of Ontario, (the Regional Tourism Organization that Brant is included in), has launched the Canadian Canoe Culture Marketing Campaign.

People paddling down the Grand RiverThe campaign is all about experiencing and teaching Canada’s history of canoeing with close-to-home paddling adventures on the Grand River. Their website has everything you need to plan a getaway on the Grand; from a quiz that gives you personalized trip ideas, to maps and outfitters, even adding in the many restaurants, things to see and do, and places to shop when you get off the water for the day!

The campaign is also giving away TWO ‘grand’ canoeing experiences! Click here to enter:
